India, Oct. 9 -- Japan's machine tool order growth remained sharp in September despite easing since August, preliminary data from the Japan Machine Tool Builders Association, or JMTBA, showed on Friday.
Machine tool orders surged 60.4 percent year-on-year in September, slower than the 64.7 percent jump in the previous month. Orders have been rising since July 2025.
Domestic orders grew 46.5 percent from last year, and foreign demand was 66.8 percent higher.
