India, Aug. 11 -- On Tuesday, Janus International Group, Inc. (JBI) reported a sharp decline in profit in the second quarter, owing to higher cost of revenue, compared to the prior year. Furthermore, the company lowered its full year outlook for 2026.

In the pre-market activity on the NYSE, the shares were trading 19.93 percent lower at $4.38, after closing Monday's trading 3.24 percent down.

Net income for the period declined significantly to $10.7 million or $0.08 per share from $20.7 million or $0.15 per share in the same quarter last year.

Adjusted income was $23.9 million or $0.17 per share, compared to $28.2 million or $0.20 per share in the previous year.
