India, Oct. 8 -- Innovent Biologics announced that its Phase 3 RESTORE-3 study of SYCUME (teprotumumab N01 injection) met the primary endpoint in Chinese patients with inactive thyroid eye disease (TED), marking another clinical milestone for the therapy.
The study showed that SYCUME significantly reduced eye protrusion, a hallmark symptom of the disease, while maintaining a favorable safety profile.
Thyroid eye disease is an autoimmune condition that can cause eye bulging, double vision, discomfort, and vision impairment. While inflammation is more active in the early stages of the disease, many patients continue to experience long-term symptoms even after the inflammatory phase subsides.
