India, Aug. 3 -- The Indonesia stock market on Monday ended the two-day winning streak in which it had climbed more than 140 points or 2.3 percent. The Jakarta Composite Index now rests just above the 6,230-point plateau and it's likely to find renewed support on Tuesday.
The global forecast for the Asian markets is upbeat on sinking crude oil prices and optimism for an end to the conflict in the Middle East. The European and U.S. markets were up and the Asian bourses are expected to open in similar fashion.
