India, Aug. 11 -- The Indonesia stock market has finished lower in two straight sessions, retreating more than 140 points or 2.2 percent in that span. The Jakarta Composite Index now rests just beneath the 6,270-point plateau and it's looking at another soft tart again on Wednesday.

The global forecast for the Asian markets is soft thanks to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East and the resulting spike in crude oil prices. The European markets were mixed and the U.S. bourses were down and the Asian markets figure to split the difference.
