India, July 26 -- The Indonesia stock market has finished lower in three straight sessions, slumping more than 140 points or 2.3 percent along the way. The Jakarta Composite Index now rests just beneath the 6,200-point plateau although it may halt its slide on Monday.
The global forecast for the Asian markets is mixed to higher, with sliding oil prices offset by weakness among the tech shares. The European markets were up and the U.S. bourses were down and the Asian markets figure to split the difference.
