India, Aug. 4 -- The Indonesia stock market rebounded on Tuesday, one day after snapping the two-day winning streak in which it had climbed more than 140 points or 2.3 percent. The Jakarta Composite Index now rests just beneath the 6,320-point plateau and it's likely to open higher again on Wednesday.
The global forecast for the Asian markets is upbeat on falling crude oil prices and optimism for an end to hostilities in the Middle East. The European and U.S. markets were up and the Asian bourses are expected to open in similar fashion.
