India, Oct. 1 -- International Business Machines Corp. (IBM) is up 4.22 percent, gaining $9.29 to $229.22 on Thursday. The move comes after IBM announced a self-hosted deployment option for IBM Bob, its agentic software development platform, allowing organizations to run the technology across on-premises, private-cloud, sovereign-cloud and air-gapped environments.

IBM is currently trading at $229.22, up from the previous close of $219.93 after opening at $230.76 on the New York Stock Exchange. The stock has traded between $228.30 and $234.27 during the session, with trading volume at 3.38 million shares versus average volume of 8.23 million.
