ID NOW platform is an instrument-based molecular testing system used to detect common infectious diseases.
According to the company, the compact, CLIA-waived benchtop instrument delivers results in minutes and is intended for use in clinics, physician offices, urgent care centres, and outpatient settings.
The system performs single-patient testing and delivers results for Flu A & B, RSV, and COVID-19 in 13 minutes or less, and for Strep A in under six minutes.
