India, July 26 -- The Hong Kong stock market turned lower again on Friday, one day after ending the two-day losing streak in which it had dropped more than 250 points or 1 percent. The Hang Seng Index now sits just above the 24,960-point plateau although it's likely to see renewed support on Monday.
The global forecast for the Asian markets is mixed to higher, with sliding oil prices offset by weakness among the tech shares. The European markets were up and the U.S. bourses were down and the Asian markets figure to split the difference.
