India, July 12 -- The Indonesia stock market has finished higher in back-to-back sessions, advancing more than 50 points or 0.8 percent in that span. The Jakarta Composite Index now rests just above the 5,920-point plateau and it may open to the upside again on Monday.

The global forecast for the Asian markets is cautiously optimistic, spurred by strong tech support and easing crude oil prices. The European markets were mixed and the U.S. bourses were slightly higher and the Asian markets figure to split the difference.
