India, Oct. 2 -- Generali Deutschland Holding AG (GE1G,GDEUF.PK), a German insurance company, Friday said that it has signed an agreement to acquire a 9.9 percent stake in Banco de Credito Cooperativo or BCC, the holding company of Grupo Cooperativo Cajamar, for 150 million euros.

The partnership is expected to help Generali Spain support its expansion in key insurance segments and strengthen its presence across GCC's extensive nationwide distribution network.

The transaction will be executed by Generali Spain within its investment portfolio and is expected to have no material impact on the main Group's solvency level. It is expected to close in the second half of 2027, subject to the required regulatory approvals.
