India, May 5 -- Fiserv, Inc. (FISV) shares dropped 8.22 percent to $57.65, down $5.17 on Tuesday, after the company reported weaker first-quarter earnings compared to the prior year.
The stock is currently trading at $57.65, versus a previous close of $62.81 on the Nasdaq. It opened at $57.82 and moved between $57.05 and $59.54 during the session, with trading volume reaching 5.48 million shares.
The decline follows a drop in net income to $571 million, or $1.07 per share, from $851 million, or $1.51 per share last year. Revenue also slipped 2.0 percent to $5.027 billion. The stock has traded in a 52-week range of $52.91 to $191.91.
