India, Aug. 14 -- Fate Therapeutics, Inc. (FATE), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing off-the-shelf cellular immunotherapies, announced the initiation of its Phase 2 RECLAIM-LN clinical trial evaluating FT819 in patients with refractory moderate-to-severe systemic Lupus erythematosus or SLE, with Lupus nephritis.
FT819 is an investigational, off-the-shelf CD19-targeting CAR T-cell therapy designed to provide broad and on-demand access to cellular immunotherapy.
RECLAIM-LN Trial
The multicenter Phase 2 trial is expected to enroll approximately 53 patients with Class III or IV Lupus nephritis who have failed at least two prior systemic immunosuppressive therapies.
