India, Aug. 24 -- European stocks were little changed in directionless trade on Monday as investors awaited details of what Washington has billed as its toughest-ever sanctions campaign against Iran and its trading partners.

Upcoming earnings from chip giant Nvidia, U.S. inflation data and Fed Chair Kevin Warsh's Jackson Hole speech also remain on investors' radar.

The pan-European STOXX 600 was marginally higher at 654.39 after rising 0.6 percent on Friday.
