India, Sept. 30 -- Wednesday, Elmet Technologies, Inc., a subsidiary of The Elmet Group Co. (ELMT), announced that it has secured a $36 million contract from the Defense Logistics Agency to supply high-performance molybdenum and tungsten alloys and precision wire to the U.S. National Defense Stockpile.
On the Nasdaq, the shares were trading 5.98 percent up at $20.30.
Elmet Technologies will supply DLA Strategic Materials with TZM billets, bars and ingots, along with specialized molybdenum and tungsten wire for the National Defense Stockpile.
The award leverages Elmet Technologies' nearly 100 years of expertise in producing tungsten, molybdenum, TZM, and other refractory metal products for critical industries.
