India, Nov. 6 -- On Friday, ECO Animal Health (EAH.L) reported that first-half trading was in line with expectations. Revenue excluding China increased 6% year over year, with South and Southeast Asia recording growth of more than 50%.
However, low pork prices and oversupply in China have reduced farmers' spending on animal health products.
As a result, revenue from the China and Japan region is expected to fall significantly, bringing first-half Group revenue to £33 million, compared with £39 million in the same period last year.
On the LSE, the shares closed Friday's trading 12.11 percent down at 83.50 pence.
