India, Oct. 7 -- Crude oil prices have shown a significant downturn over the course of the trading day on Wednesday, pulling back sharply after surging early in the session.
After surging as much as $1.54 or 1.7 percent to a high of $90.98 a barrel, crude for November was last seen trading down $1.15 or 1.3 percent at $88.29 a barrel.
The downturn by the price of crude oil came after the International Energy Agency announced member states have expressed support for accelerating the oil stock releases announced in the Collective Action of March 2026.
