India, Sept. 26 -- CHVRCHES have returned with "Roses," their first new song in three years, marking the start of a new era for the Scottish trio.
The dark, industrial-leaning track sees Lauren Mayberry, Iain Cook and Martin Doherty move further toward a guitar-driven sound while retaining elements of the band's electronic style.
"Roses" follows the band's 2021 album Screen Violence and comes after Mayberry released her debut solo album Vicious Creature in 2024. Doherty also launched a new project, The Leaving, with touring drummer Jonny Scott.
