India, Oct. 14 -- China's consumer price inflation rose slightly in September driven by higher fuel prices and producer price inflation hit the highest level in more than four years, official data revealed Wednesday.
Consumer prices rose 0.9 percent in September from a year ago, slightly faster than the 0.8 percent increase seen in August, the National Bureau of Statistics said. However, this was weaker than the forecast of 1.0 percent.
