India, June 23 -- Shares of Carnival Corporation (CCL) fell over 5% on Tuesday morning after the cruise operator reported second-quarter results.

The stock is currently trading at $28.52, down $1.67 or 5.52%, on the NYSE. It opened at $27.40 after closing the previous session at $30.19. The stock has traded between $23.45 and $34.03 over the past 52 weeks.

Carnival reported record revenue of $6.7 billion, up from $6.3 billion a year earlier, while adjusted net income rose more than 20% to $569 million.
