India, July 2 -- Pop singer-songwriter Carly Rae Jepsen recently dropped a new single, "On Wires," the lead track from her new album, Day and Night.
She sings, "I want to be more than friends for the week/ I want to be more than friends the week/ and if you want and if you like I'll make you read my mind/ I want you."
Day and Night is set to release on September 18 via Interscope Records. The double album will feature 12 tracks on each side.
A press release describes the project as capturing a "blurred, dreamlike sense of time where nights stretch into mornings and days dissolve into nights, creating a feeling of being suspended inside a moment."
