India, July 9 -- Shares of Byrna Technologies Inc. (BYRN) are falling about 26 percent on Thursday morning after the company reported a loss of $10.1 million in the second quarter compared with earnings of $2.4 in the previous year.

Shares of the company slipped 26.26 percent to $4.37 on the Nasdaq, compared with the previous closing price of $5.94. The stock has traded in a 52-week range of $4.3601 to $32.36.

Net revenue for the quarter declined to $16.4 million from $28.5 million in the prior year, driven primarily by a decrease in e-commerce sales and slower reorder activity from dealers and chain stores following substantial restocking in fiscal first quarter and slower-than-expected sell-through.
