India, Sept. 14 -- The Baldwin Insurance Group, Inc. (BWIN) is up 7.42 percent, gaining $2.20 to $31.85 on Monday. The move comes after the company announced a definitive agreement under which an entity formed by Sequence Holdings and DFO Management will acquire a majority interest in Baldwin in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately $7.7 billion.

Baldwin Insurance is currently trading at $31.85, up from its previous close of $29.65 on the Nasdaq. The stock opened at $31.82 and has traded between a high of $31.88 and a low of $31.73. Trading volume stands at 12.55 million shares, compared with an average volume of 1.43 million shares.
