India, July 22 -- Shares of Badger Meter, Inc. (BMI) are falling about 6 percent in Wednesday morning trading after the company reported a decline in second-quarter earnings and revenue.
Shares of the company slipped 6.35 percent to $136.57 on the New York Stock Exchange, compared with the previous closing price of $145.87. The stock has traded in a 52-week range of $112.09 to $206.29.
The company's earnings for the quarter stood at $29.72 million, or $1.02 per share, compared to $34.58 million, or $1.17 per share, last year. Meanwhile, the company's revenue decreased to $222.32 million from $238.10 million in the prior year.
