India, April 9 -- Asian stock markets are trading mostly higher on Friday, following the broadly positive cues from Wall Street overnight, as traders remain cautiously optimistic about easing of hostilities in the Middle East. Concerns remain about the fragility of the ceasefire in the Middle East, with Iran accusing the U.S. and Israel of violating the agreement. Asian markets ended mostly lower on Thursday.

Iran permitted restricted ship movement via the Strait of Hormuz, while Israel attacked Lebanon ahead of U.S.-Iran talks.
