India, Aug. 12 -- AN2 Therapeutics, Inc. (ANTX) on Tuesday reported second quarter 2026 financial results showing a wider net loss, as research and development spending increased while general and administrative costs declined.

For the quarter ended June 30, 2026, the company posted a net loss of $8.2 million, or $0.18 per share, compared to $6.5 million, or $0.21 per share, in the second quarter of 2025.

R&D expenses rose to $6.0 million, from $3.2 million a year earlier, reflecting higher chemistry manufacturing, consulting and trial-related costs.

G&A expenses fell to $2.9 million, from $4.0 million in Q2 2025, driven by lower professional services and personnel costs.
