India, Sept. 9 -- On Wednesday, America's Car-Mart (CRMT), an online car-sales company, reported a wider loss in the first quarter of 2027, compared to the same quarter last year, mainly due to lower sales generated.

On the Nasdaq, the shares were trading 37.36 percent down at $1.5594.

Net loss attributable to shareholders widened by 38.5 percent to $68.99 million or $8.28 per share, from $5.75 million or $0.69 per share in the previous year.

Adjusted net loss attributable to common shareholders was $55.36 million or $6.65 per share for the current year.

Total sales for the period dropped by 57.3 percent to $145.75 million from $341.31 million in the prior year.
