India, Nov. 5 -- Agios Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (AGIO), a commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on rare diseases, reported third-quarter 2026 financial results, with worldwide mitapivat revenue more than quadrupling year over year, driven by continued demand for AQVESME in thalassemia.
Third Quarter 2026 Results
Worldwide net revenue from mitapivat products PYRUKYND and AQVESME increased more than fourfold to $55.4 million from $12.9 million in the third quarter of 2025.
U.S. net revenue rose to $48.7 million from $12.3 million a year earlier, while ex-U.S. revenue increased to $6.6 million from $0.6 million.
U.S. revenue increased 20% sequentially, supported by the AQVESME launch in thalassemia in January 2026.
