Mbappe's double on 100th appearance fires France into World Cup knockout stages
France, June 23 -- During his 99th appearance for his country on 16 June, Mbappe scored twice against Senegal to equal and then eclipse Olivier Giroud's feats as France's record goalscorer.
Mbappe, who made his debut for his country on 25 March 2017 against Luxemburg, took his goal tally to 59 in the 15th minute of France's second game in Group I.
