France, Sept. 4 -- The two governments said they would take steps towards "the relocation of the embassy of the Democratic Republic of the Congo from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem".

No timetable has been given.

The move would place the DRC among a small group of countries that recognise Jerusalem as Israel's capital by locating their embassy there - an especially unusual position for an African state.
