Nepal, April 16 -- Minister for Finance Dr Swarnim Wagle has said the upcoming budget will be focused on improving the social living standards of citizens.
During a discussion with a delegation of the Economic Media Association Nepal (EMAN) on Wednesday, he said the government would address current economic challenges through the promotion of entrepreneurship, increased domestic production, and the development of a self-reliant economy.
Minister Wagle stressed the need to expand capital formation, tackle unemployment, and curb rising inflation. He said strengthening entrepreneurship and boosting domestic production would help build a self-reliant and resilient economy, adding that cooperation from the media sector is also essential.
