Nepal, Sept. 11 -- Newly appointed US Charge d'Affaires to Nepal Megan Bouldin paid a courtesy call on Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Thursday.

During the meeting, Bouldin paid tribute to those who lost their lives in the Bhotekoshi flood and expressed the US government's solidarity with the Government of Nepal and the Nepali people during the difficult time.

She said the US government was ready to support Nepal in its relief, rehabilitation and reconstruction efforts following the disaster.
