Nepal, June 25 -- US Charge d'Affaires Scott Urbom paid a courtesy call on Vice President Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav at the latter's office in Lainchaur on Thursday.

During the meeting, the two discussed various dimensions of Nepal-US bilateral relations, according to the Office of the Vice President.

Vice President Yadav said relations between Nepal and the United States have remained close, cordial and cooperative since the establishment of diplomatic ties in 1947, founded on mutual respect, understanding, development cooperation and strong people-to-people connections.
