Nepal, May 18 -- CPN-UML lawmaker Gangadevi Shrestha has urged Prime Minister Balendra Shah to reinstall the controversial "Greater Nepal" map in the Prime Minister's Office, reviving a symbolic political demand tied to nationalism and public sentiment.

Speaking at Monday's meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR), she said the map previously displayed during Shah's tenure as mayor should be placed again in the Prime Minister's Office.

"I would like to demand that the 'Greater Nepal' map you had displayed when you were mayor be placed here again. People voted for Balendra Shah as a more nationalist leader than KP Sharma Oli after seeing that," she said.
