Nepal, April 20 -- Chairperson of Ujyalo Nepal Party, Kulman Ghising, has demanded the government withdraw the recent decision to increase the prices of petroleum products.

In his address to a province-level party cadres' meeting in Karnali on Monday, Ghising was of the view of providing a special subsidy in the fuel prices for Karnali folks.

"Life in Karnali is already expensive due to its geographical features and remoteness. That's why fuels should be supplied here at subsidized prices to ease the public movement and to promote tourism," the former Minister stressed.
