Nepal, Aug. 20 -- Police have arrested two people in Sarlahi with a large quantity of marijuana.

A police team deployed from the Narcotics Control Bureau's Bardibas branch arrested two residents of Dainiyakhola in Lalbandi Municipality 14 based on a tipoff.

According to police, 560 kg of marijuana was recovered from 26 sacks hidden inside the house of 63-year-old local resident Nar Bahadur Thing.

Similarly, police recovered another 100 kg of marijuana hidden inside four tin drums kept in the cattle shed of 52-year-old Jensu Maya Thing.

Police recovered a total of 660 kg of marijuana from the two locations.

The suspects have been handed over to the Area Police Office in Lalbandi for further investigation and legal action. Police also...
