Nepal, April 17 -- Tribhuvan University (TU) has taken a firm stance to reclaim its land and immovable assets that have been illegally occupied by various individuals, companies, and organizations.
Publishing a public notice in Friday's Gorkhapatra Daily, the university issued a final 35-day ultimatum to vacate such properties. The move follows findings of the "Land and Immovable Property Investigation Committee Report 2081 BS," which concluded that several TU-owned lands had been unlawfully occupied and controlled in violation of prevailing laws and regulations.
