Nepal, June 2 -- The Sudurpaschim Province government has adopted a policy to prioritize the completion of provincial pride projects by allocating budgets based on a project prioritization procedure and a project bank. It will also make project selection and prioritization more result-oriented.

The policies and programmes presented by Province Chief Najir Miya in the Province Assembly on Monday for the fiscal year 2026/27 underscore sectoral projects, taking into account the achievements of the province's first five-year plan, the goals and priorities set by the second five-year plan, and the current periodic plan of the federal government.
