Nepal, June 6 -- Speaker of the House of Representatives Dol Prasad Aryal and Chair of the National Assembly Narayan Prasad Dahal visited the proposed dry port site at Dodhara-Chandani Municipality in Kanchanpur on Friday.

The visit was made on the sidelines of the High-level Inter-Legislative Conference being held in the region.

The proposed dry port is expected to play a significant role in boosting trade connectivity and supporting the country's long-term economic development once operational.

Deputy Speaker Rubi Kumari Thakur and National Assembly Vice Chair Lila Kumari Bhandari also accompanied the delegation during the site inspection.
