Nepal, Sept. 18 -- The Republic of Korea and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) have provided specialised equipment to support Nepal's emergency response and early recovery efforts following the August 26 floods, according to a press release issued by UNDP Nepal.

The assistance, provided at the request of the Government of Nepal, includes camera-equipped drones and portable 3KVA backup power generators. The equipment will support search and rescue, assessment of affected areas, underwater operations and emergency power supply, according to the release.
