SEBON chair Bhatta says policy, legal reforms underway to strengthen capital market
Nepal, Sept. 30 -- Chairman of the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON), Dr Gopal Prasad Bhatta, has said that work is ongoing to make the capital market better managed and transparent. He expressed this view at today's meeting of the Finance Committee, the House of Representatives.
"The Board is committed and continuously working to make Nepal's capital market organized, transparent, credible, and investment-friendly," he said.
He said that there have been ongoing discussions with relevant authorities and organizations regarding the issuance, listing, market operation, regulation of securities, and protection of investors' interests.
