Nepal, July 1 -- Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Nepal, Fahd Mohammad A. Manikh, paid a courtesy call on Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal at the latter's office today.

During the meeting, Speaker Aryal stated that the Federal Parliament of Nepal is interested in collaborating with the Shura Council of Saudi Arabia and informed that a Nepal-Saudi Arabia Parliamentary Friendship Group has been formed as per the recent decision of the Federal Parliament.

He also expressed confidence that cooperation between the parliaments of both countries on issues of mutual interest would be facilitated through the group, according to the Speaker's private secretariat.
