Nepal, Aug. 27 -- The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has decided to provide Rs 5 million in financial assistance for the rescue and relief of victims of the Bhotekoshi floods in Rasuwa.

The party has also decided to suspend all political and organizational activities indefinitely and focus its resources entirely on disaster response.Political Event Coverage

The decisions were made at a party secretariat meeting held Wednesday to assess the extensive loss of life and property caused by the floods in Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, Gorkha, Nawalparasi and other districts.
