Nepal, June 7 -- According to the party's Central Election Commission, conventions are scheduled to take place today in Udayapur, Solukhumbu, Khotang, Ilam, Siraha, Dhanusha, Parsa, Sarlahi, Chitwan, Lalitpur, Tanahun, Nawalpur, Gorkha, Lamjung, Arghakhanchi, Rupandehi, Pyuthan, Surkhet, Jajarkot, Dailekh, Rukum, Mugu, Jumla, Achham, Doti, Dadeldhura, Kailali, Kanchanpur and Bajura.

The party said the convention in Bara district has been postponed to June 9 due to special organizational circumstances. The Bagmati Province convention is also set to begin on the same day.
