Nepal, March 15 -- The House of Representatives election held on March 5, 2026, has opened a new phase in Nepal's parliamentary politics. The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) secured a commanding position by winning 182 seats in total, 125 through direct voting and 57 through the proportional system. The result gives the party a clear mandate to form a government on its own.
