RSP meeting delays HoR session
Nepal, Aug. 19 -- The House of Representatives meeting scheduled for 1 pm on Wednesday has been delayed as a parliamentary party meeting of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is still underway.
RSP President Rabi Lamichhane is holding discussions with the party's lawmakers and ministers on parliamentary conduct, their roles and working methods at the party's parliamentary office in Singha Durbar.
The House session has not started even after its scheduled time, with the RSP meeting continuing to hold up proceedings.
According to the agenda, Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Wagle is scheduled to table a proposal seeking consideration of the Employees Provident Fund (Tenth Amendment) Bill, 2083 BS.
