Nepal, June 8 -- Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) parliamentary party leader Gyanendra Shahi has questioned alleged alterations in the Appropriation Bill for fiscal year 2026/27, asking whose interests were being served by changes made without parliamentary submission.

Speaking in Monday's parliamentary session, Shahi also demanded a parliamentary investigation into Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Wagle over alleged tampering with the budget presented by the government.

"The Appropriation Bill is being changed repeatedly by the finance minister-whose interests is this serving?" Shahi said.
