Nepal, April 20 -- Rajendra Lingden, chair of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party, has called on the government to immediately clarify allegations regarding Home Minister Sudan Gurung and his reported association with controversial businessman Deepak Bhatt.
Speaking at a party programme in Kathmandu on Monday, Lingden said the government and the ruling Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) must clearly state their position after documents surfaced showing Gurung's shareholding in Star Micro Insurance, a company linked to Bhatt. "The government must immediately make its position clear. The home minister should clarify his position, and the party leadership must also state its stance," Lingden said.
