Rasuwa flood: 193 bodies brought to Teaching Hospital, 24 identified
Nepal, Sept. 4 -- The bodies of 193 people who died in the Bhotekoshi flood in Rasuwa have been brought to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj.
Dr Gopal Chaudhary, chief of the hospital's forensic lab, said 174 of the bodies brought to the hospital have been examined so far.
The hospital said only 24 of the bodies have been identified so far and handed over to their families and relatives.
According to Chaudhary, 161 bodies have been managed, including 151 bodies and the remains of 10 other bodies whose various body parts were recovered separately.
